{"id":1202601,"date":"2021-05-17T13:58:17","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T17:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/?post_type=glossary-term&#038;p=1202601"},"modified":"2021-05-17T14:55:32","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T18:55:32","slug":"foyer-de-soins-de-longue-duree-2","status":"publish","type":"glossary-term","link":"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/fr\/glossary\/foyer-de-soins-de-longue-duree-2\/","title":{"rendered":"foyer de soins de longue dur\u00e9e"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En Ontario, les foyers de soins de longue dur\u00e9e sont des \u00e9tablissements agr\u00e9\u00e9s dans lesquels vivent des adultes ayant besoin\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>de soins infirmiers et de soins de la personne sur place en tout temps;<\/li>\n<li>d\u2019aide pour r\u00e9aliser la plupart de leurs activit\u00e9s quotidiennes, sinon toutes, comme manger, se laver et aller \u00e0 la toilette.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On appelle parfois ces \u00e9tablissements \u00ab\u00a0maisons de soins infirmiers\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0foyers de bienfaisance\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0foyers municipaux pour personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sidents des foyers de soins de longue dur\u00e9e paient une somme pour leur h\u00e9bergement et leur nourriture. Les tarifs, qui sont fix\u00e9s par le gouvernement provincial, sont les m\u00eames dans les foyers \u00e0 but lucratif et non lucratif. Le gouvernement paie pour les soins de sant\u00e9 des r\u00e9sidents.
