Vous conservez votre statut m\u00eame si votre carte est expir\u00e9e, perdue ou vol\u00e9e. Mais il est important d\u2019avoir cette carte pour prouver votre statut.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, vous pouvez utiliser votre carte de RP lorsque vous demandez\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/s-inscrire-l-assurance-sant-de-l-ontario-et-obtenir-une-carte-sant-1-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">une <u>carte Sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario<\/u><\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>un <a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/num-ro-d-assurance-sociale-nas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">num\u00e9ro d\u2019assurance sociale (NAS)<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>de l\u2019<a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/recevoir-de-l-aide-sociale-en-ontario\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aide sociale.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Il est important d\u2019avoir une carte de RP valide lorsqu\u2019on voyage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. Si votre carte expire lorsque vous \u00eates \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, vous ne pourrez pas utiliser les services de transporteurs commerciaux (avion, train, autobus ou bateau) pour revenir au pays, parce que ces entit\u00e9s exigent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la pr\u00e9sentation d\u2019une carte de RP pour les d\u00e9placements vers le Canada. Vous pourriez avoir \u00e0 demander un titre de voyage pour r\u00e9sident permanent.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 votre arriv\u00e9e au Canada, vous devrez prouver votre statut de r\u00e9sident permanent aux autorit\u00e9s frontali\u00e8res.
