Un enfant demeure habituellement \u00e0 charge jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce qu&#8217;il ait 18\u00a0ans, et parfois plus longtemps.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;une mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les pensions alimentaires pour\u00a0enfants sont une somme que le parent qui passe le moins de temps avec l&#8217;enfant verse au parent qui s&#8217;en occupe la plupart du temps.
