Vous devez aussi accepter que vous et votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>vivrez principalement en Ontario, et<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>vivrez en Ontario pendant au moins 153 jours au cours d&#8217;une p\u00e9riode de 12 mois.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Si vous et votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 avez r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 en Ontario, vous n\u2019avez pas \u00e0 attendre avant de pr\u00e9senter une demande. Mais vous devez aussi accepter que vous et votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 vivrez en Ontario pendant au moins 153 jours au cours des 183 premiers jours <strong>suivant<\/strong> votre arriv\u00e9e. Cela repr\u00e9sente environ 5 des 6 premiers mois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 doit \u00e9galement avoir un statut d\u2019immigration qui lui <a href=\"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/fr\/questions\/immigration\/puis-je-beneficier-de-lassurance-sante-si-je-n-ai-pas-la-residence-permanente\/\" rel=\"noopener\">donne l\u2019admissibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario<\/a>. Par exemple, votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 peut avoir la citoyennet\u00e9 canadienne, la r\u00e9sidence permanente ou \u00eatre une personne prot\u00e9g\u00e9e. Tout b\u00e9b\u00e9 n\u00e9 au Canada a la citoyennet\u00e9 canadienne.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 peut obtenir une carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario m\u00eame si vous n\u2019en avez pas. Et si vous avez une carte, votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 a tout de m\u00eame besoin de sa propre carte.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Le processus<\/h3>\n<p><span>Le processus pour demander une carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario pour votre b\u00e9b\u00e9 d\u00e9pend de son lieu de naissance :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>naissance en Ontario, lire l\u2019\u00e9tape 1<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>naissance au Canada mais pas en Ontario, lire l\u2019\u00e9tape 2<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>naissance \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du Canada, lire l\u2019\u00e9tape 3<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Prestations de la <span>carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>Avec une carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario, le gouvernement de l\u2019Ontario paie certains services de sant\u00e9, comme certains tests m\u00e9dicaux et vaccins, ainsi que les consultations :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>chez un m\u00e9decin<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>chez un sp\u00e9cialiste des soins de sant\u00e9<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>dans un h\u00f4pital<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>La carte de l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario ne couvre pas tous les frais m\u00e9dicaux de votre b\u00e9b\u00e9. Par exemple, il ne paie pas les m\u00e9dicaments ni les consultations chez le dentiste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>D\u2019autres programmes peuvent couvrir certains de ces co\u00fbts. Par exemple, si vous avez une assurance priv\u00e9e par l\u2019entremise de votre emploi ou si vous payez vous-m\u00eame, votre r\u00e9gime d\u2019assurance peut couvrir certains frais non pris en charge par l\u2019Assurance-sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario.
