Le repr\u00e9sentant doit conna\u00eetre tous les faits pour vous servir et vous conseiller au mieux de ses capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3>Demandez un interpr\u00e8te si vous en avez besoin<\/h3>\n<p>Dites \u00e0 votre repr\u00e9sentant que vous avez besoin d&#8217;un interpr\u00e8te si c&#8217;est le cas, car vous devez vous comprendre parfaitement. Vous ne devez rien perdre de ce qui se dit et des questions pos\u00e9es. Vous devez aussi donner des descriptions et explications d\u00e9taill\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous avez obtenu un certificat d&#8217;aide juridique, c&#8217;est habituellement Aide juridique Ontario (AJO) qui paie les services d&#8217;un interpr\u00e8te, jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 un nombre d&#8217;heures convenu.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous payez le repr\u00e9sentant de votre poche, vous devez aussi payer les services de l&#8217;interpr\u00e8te vous-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>Il vaut mieux faire appel \u00e0 un interpr\u00e8te professionnel que de demander l&#8217;aide d&#8217;un ami ou d&#8217;un membre de la famille.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;Association des traducteurs et interpr\u00e8tes de l&#8217;Ontario a un <a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/trouver-un-traducteur-un-interpr-te-ou-un-terminologue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">r\u00e9pertoire<\/a> <span>des interpr\u00e8tes professionnels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Enfin, la Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic <a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/barbra-schlifer-commemorative-clinic-interpretation-services\/\" target=\"_blank\">offre des services d&#8217;interpr\u00e9tation gratuits<\/a> (disponible en anglais seulement) aux femmes et aux personnes issues de la pluralit\u00e9 des genres victimes de violence.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous comprenez mal l&#8217;interpr\u00e8te ou croyez qu&#8217;il fait mal son travail, dites-le \u00e0 votre repr\u00e9sentant d\u00e8s que possible.
