Vous n&#8217;avez pas besoin d&#8217;habiter en Ontario pour vous y marier. Vous n&#8217;avez pas non plus besoin d&#8217;\u00eatre citoyen canadien ou r\u00e9sident permanent.<\/p>\n<p>Pour vous marier en Ontario, vous devez avoir <strong>au moins 16\u00a0ans<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> Si vous avez 16 ou 17\u00a0ans, vous devez habituellement obtenir la permission \u00e9crite de vos deux parents. Si vos parents sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s, vous n&#8217;avez g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement besoin que de la permission du parent qui a les responsabilit\u00e9s d\u00e9cisionnelles,\u00a0autrefois appel\u00e9\u00a0la garde. Si vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 mari\u00e9, vous devez prouver l&#8217;une des choses suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/family-law\/dois-je-divorcer\/\">votre divorce<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/family-law\/quest-ce-quune-\u00ab-annulation-\u00bb-et-comment-puis-je-en-obtenir-une\/\">l&#8217;annulation de votre mariage<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de votre conjoint pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vous ne pouvez pas \u00eatre mari\u00e9 \u00e0 plus d&#8217;une personne \u00e0 la fois. Au Canada, la loi interdit \u00e0 plus de deux personnes de se marier ensemble.<\/p>\n<p>Votre partenaire et vous-m\u00eame ne <strong>pouvez pas \u00eatre de proches parents,<\/strong> que ce soit par le sang ou par adoption. Cela signifie que vous ne pouvez vous marier avec votre fr\u00e8re ou votre s\u0153ur, votre demi-fr\u00e8re ou votre demi-s\u0153ur, l&#8217;un de vos parents ou grands-parents ou l&#8217;un de vos enfants ou petits-enfants.<\/p>\n<p>Votre partenaire et vous-m\u00eame devez consentir au mariage. On ne peut vous forcer \u00e0 vous marier.<\/p>\n<p>Vous devez aussi <strong>comprendre<\/strong> ce que signifie le mariage.
