Votre <span class=\"no-glossary\">engagement<\/span> figurera aussi dans la base de donn\u00e9es du Centre d&#8217;information de la police canadienne (CIPC).<\/p>\n<p>La police aura acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ces informations pour ses enqu\u00eates. Par exemple, elle pourra savoir si vous \u00eates li\u00e9 par un engagement de ne pas troubler l&#8217;ordre public en faisant une <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/criminal-law\/sur-quoi-porte-la-v\u00e9rification-des-dossiers-de-police\/\">v\u00e9rification des dossiers de police<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des engagements de ne pas troubler l&#8217;ordre public durent un maximum d&#8217;un an. Pendant ce temps, vous devez en respecter toutes les conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous ne <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/criminal-law\/quarrivera-t-il-si-je-ne-respecte-pas-un-engagement-de-ne-pas\/\">respectez pas les conditions de votre engagement<\/a>, vous pouvez \u00eatre accus\u00e9 de d\u00e9sob\u00e9issance \u00e0 une ordonnance du tribunal ou de manquement \u00e0 l&#8217;engagement. Ce sont l\u00e0 des infractions criminelles. Si vous \u00eates d\u00e9clar\u00e9 coupable, vous aurez probablement un casier judiciaire.
