Autres types de prestations et de cong\u00e9s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Si vous devez vous absenter du travail pour vous occuper d&#8217;une personne gravement malade, vous pourriez avoir droit \u00e0 d&#8217;autres types de prestations et de cong\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3>Prestations de compassion<\/h3>\n<p>Les personnes devant s&#8217;absenter du travail pour s&#8217;occuper d&#8217;un\u00a0<a class=\"links-link ext new-link\" href=\"\/fr\/resource\/employment-insurance-compassionate-care-benefits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">membre de leur famille<\/a>\u00a0qui risque de mourir peuvent recevoir des <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/je-moccupe-dune-personne-gravement-malade-ai-je-droit-a-l\/\">prestations de compassion<\/a> pendant un maximum de 26\u00a0semaines sur une p\u00e9riode d&#8217;un an.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0S&#8217;occuper de\u00a0\u00bb signifie\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>apporter du soutien psychologique ou \u00e9motionnel au membre de votre famille;<\/li>\n<li>faire en sorte qu&#8217;une autre personne s&#8217;occupe de lui;<\/li>\n<li>lui apporter des soins ou aider d&#8217;autres personnes \u00e0 lui donner des soins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9finition s&#8217;applique \u00e0 un enfant, aux membres de votre famille \u00e9largie ou de la famille de votre conjoint, et m\u00eame \u00e0 un ami proche qui vous consid\u00e8re comme un membre de sa famille.<\/p>\n<p>Les\u00a0membres d&#8217;une famille peuvent choisir de se partager les 26\u00a0semaines de prestations. Chacun d&#8217;entre eux doit \u00eatre admissible aux prestations, et pr\u00e9senter une demande individuellement. Il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de pr\u00e9parer un calendrier indiquant \u00e0 quel moment chacun des membres de la famille prendra cong\u00e9 pour s&#8217;occuper du malade.<\/p>\n<p>Vous avez 52\u00a0semaines pour toucher toutes les prestations.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous partagez les prestations, la p\u00e9riode de 52\u00a0semaines est la m\u00eame pour toutes les personnes qui touchent aux prestations. La date de d\u00e9but correspond \u00e0 la date de d\u00e9p\u00f4t d&#8217;un certificat m\u00e9dical par la premi\u00e8re personne admissible.<\/p>\n<h3>Autres types de cong\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p>Si vous \u00eates\u00a0<a class=\"links-link ext\" href=\"\/fr\/resource\/secteurs-et-emplois-qui-ont-des-exemptions-ou-des-r-gles-sp-ciales-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">couvert par la\u00a0<span class=\"no-glossary\">Loi sur les normes d&#8217;emploi<\/span><\/a>\u00a0de l&#8217;Ontario, vous pourrez peut-\u00eatre prendre jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 trois jours de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/fr\/steps\/employment-and-work\/informez-vous-sur-les-cong%C3%A9s-de-deuil-ou-pour-obligations-familiales\">cong\u00e9 pour obligations familiales<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez \u00e9galement \u00eatre en mesure de prendre un cong\u00e9 plus long m\u00eame si vous n&#8217;\u00eates pas admissible aux prestations de compassion. Par exemple, vous pourrez peut-\u00eatre prendre:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 8 semaines de\u00a0<a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/et-si-jai-besoin-de-quelques-jours-de-conge-pour-prendre-soin-dun\/\">cong\u00e9 familial pour les aidants naturels<\/a><\/li>\n<li>jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 28 semaines de\u00a0<a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/et-si-jai-besoin-de-quelques-jours-de-conge-pour-prendre-soin-dun\/\">cong\u00e9 familial pour raison m\u00e9dicale<\/a><\/li>\n<li>jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 17 semaines de\u00a0<a href=\"\/fr\/steps\/employment-and-work\/2-informez-vous-au-sujet-du-conge-familial-pour-les-aidants-naturels\/\">cong\u00e9 en cas de maladie grave<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ces cong\u00e9s ne sont pas r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s et rel\u00e8vent de la\u00a0<em>Loi sur les normes d&#8217;emploi<\/em>\u00a0plut\u00f4t que de l&#8217;assurance-emploi.<\/p>\n<p>Votre employeur ne peut\u00a0<a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/mon-employeur-peut-il-me-punir-si-jexerce-mes-droits\/\">vous menacer, vous renvoyer ou vous punir<\/a>\u00a0parce que vous prenez ou comptez prendre un des ces cong\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la Loi, votre employeur doit prot\u00e9ger votre emploi lorsque vous prenez l&#8217;un de ces cong\u00e9s, mais il n&#8217;est pas tenu de vous payer.
