Votre employeur doit recevoir la lettre au moins <strong>2 semaines<\/strong> avant votre d\u00e9part.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous prenez \u00e0 la fois un <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/je-mapprete-a-devenir-parent-quels-sont-mes-droits-en-tant-que\/\"><strong>cong\u00e9 de maternit\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> et un <strong>cong\u00e9 parental<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> indiquez dans la lettre la date de d\u00e9but de chaque cong\u00e9, ou encore donnez 2 lettres \u00e0 votre employeur, soit une pour chaque cong\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e9galement pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de dire dans votre lettre combien de temps vous pr\u00e9voyez \u00eatre en cong\u00e9 parental.<\/p>\n<h3>Changer votre date de d\u00e9part<\/h3>\n<p>Si vous changez d\u2019avis \u00e0 propos de la date de <strong>d\u00e9but<\/strong> de votre cong\u00e9, vous devez le dire \u00e0 votre employeur dans une nouvelle lettre.<\/p>\n<h4>Commencer plus t\u00f4t<\/h4>\n<p>Si vous voulez que le cong\u00e9 commence <strong>plus t\u00f4t,<\/strong> vous devez \u00e9crire \u00e0 votre employeur au moins deux semaines avant la nouvelle date de d\u00e9but.<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez commencer votre cong\u00e9 parental <strong>plus t\u00f4t <\/strong>si :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>votre enfant na\u00eet avant la date pr\u00e9vue; ou<\/li>\n<li>votre enfant adoptif arrive plus t\u00f4t que pr\u00e9vu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dans ce cas, vous devez envoyer une nouvelle lettre \u00e0 votre employeur dans les deux semaines suivant votre arr\u00eat de travail.
