Pour toucher d\u2019autres sortes de prestations d\u2019assurance-emploi, comme des prestations pour <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/je-suis-trop-malade-pour-travailler-ai-je-droit-a-lassurance-emploi\/\">cong\u00e9 de maladie<\/a> ou <a href=\"\/fr\/questions\/employment-and-work\/je-mappr\u00eate-\u00e0-devenir-parent-ai-je-droit-\u00e0-lassurance-emploi\/\">cong\u00e9 parental<\/a>, vous devez faire toutes les cotisations vous-m\u00eame pendant que vous travaillez.<\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e9gime de pensions du Canada<\/h3>\n<p>Si vous \u00eates un employ\u00e9, vous payez la moiti\u00e9 du montant qui doit \u00eatre vers\u00e9 en votre nom dans le R\u00e9gime de pensions du Canada (RPC). C\u2019est votre employeur qui paie l\u2019autre moiti\u00e9. Ces paiements sont n\u00e9cessaires pour que vous ayez droit aux\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>prestations de retraite du RPC;<\/li>\n<li>prestations d\u2019invalidit\u00e9 du RPC, si vous \u00eates admissible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si vous \u00eates un entrepreneur ind\u00e9pendant, vous devez payer la totalit\u00e9 des cotisations au RPC.<\/p>\n<h3>Indemnisation des travailleurs<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019employeur doit verser des sommes au nom de ses employ\u00e9s \u00e0 la Commission de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 professionnelle et de l\u2019assurance contre les accidents du travail (CSPAAT).
