Et parfois, seulement une partie de la LNE s\u2019applique.<\/p>\n<p>Lire la page\u00a0<a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/secteurs-et-emplois-qui-ont-des-exemptions-ou-des-r-gles-sp-ciales-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Secteurs et emplois qui ont des exemptions ou des r\u00e8gles sp\u00e9ciales<\/a> sur le site du minist\u00e8re du Travail pour savoir\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>si votre emploi est prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par la LNE, et, si oui,<\/li>\n<li>quelles dispositions s\u2019appliquent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vous pouvez aussi appeler le Centre d\u2019information sur les normes d\u2019emploi du Minist\u00e8re (1\u00a0800\u00a0531-5551, ATS\u00a0: 1\u00a0866\u00a0567-8893).<\/p>\n<h3>Code canadien du travail<\/h3>\n<p>Certains secteurs d\u2019activit\u00e9 sont soumis aux lois f\u00e9d\u00e9rales, qui s\u2019appliquent partout au pays.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple\u00a0: les banques, les transporteurs a\u00e9riens, certaines entreprises de camionnage et les radiodiffuseurs.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ces secteurs, les travailleurs sont <a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/code-canadien-du-travail-l-r-c-1985-ch-l-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par le Code canadien du travail<\/a>. Comme la LNE, le Code d\u00e9finit les normes minimales que les employeurs doivent respecter.<\/p>\n<p>Votre employeur doit avoir un jour de paie d\u00e9fini si vous \u00eates vis\u00e9 par la <a href=\"\/fr\/resource\/sante-et-securite-au-travail-partie-iii-duree-normale-du-travail-salaire-conges-et-jours-feries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">partie\u00a0III du Code canadien du travail<\/a>.
