L&#8217;APFO peut en effet conseiller ce mode de r\u00e8glement pour les incidents moins graves. Pendant ce processus, qui dure habituellement moins de 45\u00a0jours, les policiers ou le service de police collaborent avec vous pour\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>comprendre ce qui s&#8217;est pass\u00e9,<\/li>\n<li>communiquer les pr\u00e9occupations,<\/li>\n<li>chercher activement des solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voici des exemples de plaintes pouvant \u00eatre trait\u00e9es par r\u00e8glement anticip\u00e9. Le policier\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a \u00e9t\u00e9 impoli,<\/li>\n<li>vous a trait\u00e9 injustement,<\/li>\n<li>a endommag\u00e9 vos biens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le r\u00e8glement anticip\u00e9 est une proc\u00e9dure volontaire, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire que vous-m\u00eame, le policier et le service de police devez tous y consentir. Si l&#8217;une des parties ne veut pas, la plainte passe \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tape suivante du processus de traitement. C&#8217;est \u00e0 ce moment que l&#8217;APFO d\u00e9cide si elle rejette la plainte ou m\u00e8ne une enqu\u00eate.<\/p>\n<p>Si tout le monde est d&#8217;accord pour tenter le r\u00e8glement anticip\u00e9, un agent de police impartial agira comme facilitateur. Il organisera des r\u00e9unions ou des appels t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques, et travaillera avec vous, le policier en cause et le service de police pour arriver \u00e0 une entente mutuellement satisfaisante.<\/p>\n<p>Cette entente sera remise \u00e0 l&#8217;APFO. Si elle l&#8217;approuve, le dossier est clos.<\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e8glement informel ou m\u00e9diation<\/h3>\n<p>Si le r\u00e8glement anticip\u00e9 est refus\u00e9 par une partie ou \u00e9choue, l&#8217;APFO peut conseiller le r\u00e8glement informel si elle accepte de traiter votre plainte. Pour le r\u00e8glement informel, un agent de police de grade sup\u00e9rieur travaille avec toutes les parties en cause afin de trouver une solution.<\/p>\n<p>Vous n&#8217;avez pas \u00e0 accepter cette proc\u00e9dure et vous pouvez y mettre fin en tout temps. De plus, lorsque vous acceptez une entente, vous avez 12\u00a0jours pour changer d&#8217;avis.<\/p>\n<p>Si le r\u00e8glement informel \u00e9choue, l&#8217;APFO peut recommander la m\u00e9diation.
