L’Association des juristes d’expression fran\u00e7aise de l’Ontario<\/a> (AJEFO) tient un r\u00e9pertoire d’avocats francophones. Vous pouvez y faire une recherche par nom, domaine ou ville.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9pertoire du Barreau de l’Ontario<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le Barreau de l’Ontario met \u00e0 votre disposition un r\u00e9pertoire<\/a> de tous les avocats et parajuristes habilit\u00e9s \u00e0 exercer en Ontario. Vous pouvez y faire une recherche par nom, domaine, ville ou code postal. Vous pouvez aussi limiter votre recherche aux francophones.<\/p>\n

Aide juridique Ontario<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aide juridique Ontario<\/a> (AJO) offre des services juridiques aux personnes \u00e0 tr\u00e8s faible revenu, notamment par l’entremise de certificats d’aide juridique<\/a>. Pour en obtenir un, vous devez remplir les crit\u00e8res d’admissibilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re<\/a> et votre affaire doit faire partie de celles dont s’occupe l’organisme.<\/p>\n

AJO a aussi une ligne t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique o\u00f9 vous pouvez recevoir gratuitement, en fran\u00e7ais ou en anglais, jusqu’\u00e0 20 minutes de renseignements et conseils juridiques g\u00e9n\u00e9raux en droit criminel durant les heures d’ouverture en composant le 1 800 668-8258.<\/p>\n

Service de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du Barreau<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le Barreau de l’Ontario propose un service de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence<\/a> en ligne qui vous donnera le nom d’un avocat de votre r\u00e9gion que vous pourrez consulter sans frais pendant 30 minutes. Vous pouvez demander \u00e0 ce qu’on vous mette en contact avec un avocat ou un parajuriste francophone.<\/p>\n

Si vous n’avez pas acc\u00e8s au service en ligne, vous pouvez appeler la ligne d’urgence du Barreau au 1 855 947-5255 ou au 416 947-5255 (\u00e0 Toronto). C’est peut-\u00eatre votre cas si vous \u00eates dans un refuge ou une r\u00e9gion \u00e9loign\u00e9e sans connexion Internet. Ce service t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique est disponible du lundi au vendredi, de 9 h \u00e0 17 h.<\/p>\n

Vous n’\u00eates pas oblig\u00e9 d’engager l’avocat qu’on vous propose, mais vous ne pouvez pas faire 2 demandes d’aiguillage pour un m\u00eame probl\u00e8me juridique.<\/p>\n
