Answer

If you’ve been affected by COVID-19, you can ask Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for an extension of time. IRCC is likely to allow 90 day extensions for information and documentation deadlines.

To ask for an extension, write to the IRCC office you have been working with or you can make your request online. You must also explain any missing documents.
