Answer

All Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) offices are closed. In March, all refugee hearings were postponed until April 5, 2020. On April 7, 2020, the IRB suspended all refugee hearings until further notice.  If you have a hearing date, the IRB will tell you at least 30 days before that date if your hearing will take place.  If your hearing date is less than 30 days away, your hearing is cancelled. You will be given a new date in the future.  If your hearing date is cancelled, the IRB will also give you at least 30 days notice before it schedules a new refugee hearing date for you.
