Where can I get information about immigration and refugee cases?
In response to COVID-19, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has made several announcements about its procedure changes. These changes affect all divisions of the (IRB).
Information is changing quickly. Check the IRCC website updates and speak to your lawyer or legal representative. IRCC says they will be flexible with deadlines during this crisis and that they will continue to process applications.
IRCC’s call centre will answer phone calls between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. but expect delays. You can call to get recorded information, to check the status of your application, or to speak with an agent. You can also use IRCC’s web form to ask questions or to provide information.
