2. Keep track of when your probation ends​

When you reach the end of the time agreed for your probation period, your employer may decide that:

• you have passed your probation and you still have your job
• they want to lengthen your probation
• they're firing you

But if your probation period ends and your employer does not do or say anything, then your probation is over and you still have the job. So it's a good idea to keep track of when your probation ends.
