Can I be fired without any notice?Employment Insurance
You might be able to get Employment Insurance (EI) benefits if it was not your fault that you lost your job. You can apply online.

Ontario Works
If you do not qualify for EI or are waiting for EI, you might be able to get financial help from Ontario Works (OW).
To get OW assistance, you must qualify financially. This means that you must need financial help so that you have enough money to live on.
