How do I give notice to move out of a retirement home or care home?
3. Choose a termination date
Your notice must say the date that you will end your tenancy and move out by. This is called the termination date.
If you are a care home tenant, your termination date can be any day you choose, as long as it is at least 30 days after the day you will give your landlord the notice.
NOTE: The law says you must send the notice 5 days earlier if you mail it.
