How much heat does my landlord have to provide?If your landlord still does not fix the problem, you can apply to the (LTB).
When you apply, the LTB will schedule a hearing where you and your landlord can each explain the situation to a member of the LTB. Before the hearing, you and your landlord can try to settle your problems yourselves or with the help of a mediator.
At the hearing, you must prove to the that there is a problem. It is very important to send evidence to the LTB before your hearing. Evidence can include inspectors' reports, work orders, letters, notes, temperature readings, or anything else that can help you prove your case to the LTB member.
