Can my landlord cut off my electricity or other utilities?If your landlord doesn't fix a problem with water, heat, electricity, or sewage, you can call your local property standards or department. Many cities, towns, and other municipalities have inspectors who can your landlord to get the utility fixed. If an inspector makes an order, you should ask for a copy of it.
