New videos on family law motions
CLEO is excited to share 4 new videos on family law motions that explain how to get a temporary court order. The videos help people understand:
- which family law motion they need
- how to start a regular or urgent motion
- how to respond to a regular or urgent motion
- what happens at a motion
Each video is 6 to 8 minutes long. They were developed with support from the Department of Justice Canadian Family Justice Fund.
These videos compliment CLEO’s collection of resources that help people navigate the family law court process. Other resources include:
- drawings that show what a family court looks like
- flowcharts that explain the steps in a family law case
- Guided Pathways to fill out family law court forms
