Moving back in after repairs or renovations

Steps to Justice now has a tool tenants can use to write a letter telling their landlord they want to move back in after repairs or renovations are finished.

Tenants have the right to return to their unit when their landlord evicts them for repairs or renovations using a Form N13.

The tool collects basic information about the tenant and landlord, and details related to moving back in.
After answering some questions, the tenant gets an email with the letter. They can review the letter and make changes before they sign it and send it to their landlord.

The tool also includes a checklist of steps that tenants must take before and after moving out.
