4. Apply for a PRRA

If you're applying for a (PRRA) for the first time, you must wait for a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officer to give you the application form.

If you're making your first PRRA application, and you apply within 15 days from getting the form, your will be paused until your PRRA is decided. This is called a stay of removal.

In certain cases, a removal order will not be paused.
