4. Get a decision
Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) will assess your needs before they decide whether to give you services and supports.
If there are services available right away, DSO can connect you with them.
For other services, they will put you on a waiting list if there is one. The DSO is supposed to help people on the waiting list who urgently need supports.
If you are on a waiting list, make sure the DSO has your current contact information so they can let you know when services are available.
If the DSO says you don’t qualify
If DSO decides that you don’t qualify, they will send you a letter with their decision. You should get the letter within 20 business days from when your application was completed.
You can ask them to review their decision. But there is a deadline so you need to act quickly.
