Check your credit record

If you want to know whether your landlord has reported you to any credit agencies, you have the right to get a free copy of your credit report. You can request a copy from either of the two main credit reporting agencies in Canada:  Equifax and TransUnion.

You can also ask for your credit record to be corrected if it contains wrong information.
