CLEO’s On the Radar – New benefit for workers when there’s a COVID-19 lockdown

In late 2021, the federal government introduced the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit (CWLB).

Workers in Ontario could get the CWLB starting on December 19, 2021, when Ontario was confirmed as a lockdown region.

Updated information on employment law

Steps to Justice has updated information on employment law about changes that took effect on January 1, 2022. These changes include:
