What if my employer appeals a WSIB decision?You have 30 days from when you receive a letter about your employer's to fill out and return the Worker Participant Form. This is the form that allows you to participate in the appeal.
It's a good idea to send the form right away, even if you are not sure. You can always decide later that you don't want to participate in the appeal.
If you do not send the Worker Participation Form, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) will not send you any more information about the appeal. But you will get a copy of the decision when the appeal process is complete.
