3. Get help filling out the online form

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has resources called:

They describe in detail how to fill out your online report using the WSIB's online services.

But filling out the online report can be difficult. So you might want to get help from someone.

You could ask a friend or family member, or you might want to get legal help.

You can also contact the WSIB for help at 1-800-387-0750. For TTY, call 1-800-387-0050 or 711.

Help in languages other than English and French

If you need help on the phone in a language other than English or French, tell the WSIB what language you speak. They can get an interpreter for you.

On the online form, choose the language you want from the list. Once you do this, an option will appear asking if you would like an interpreter.

Letting someone talk to the WSIB for you

You can also give permission to someone to talk to the WSIB for you. You can do this by filling out the Direction of authorization – claims form and submitting it online to the WSIB.

Include your name, the person's name, and say that you authorize this person to talk to the WSIB on your behalf.
