4. Learn what to do if your application is refused
Get legal help if your application for a (TRP) or Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is refused. Your legal representative can ask for a copy of the reasons why this happened.
The Canadian government keeps the information from your past applications and it will show up the next time you apply.
If possible, before you apply again:
- take steps to change why you're
- collect more to support your application
If you have new information, you may be able to apply for a TRP or TRV again. If you have a strong case for why your application should not have been refused, you may be able to challenge that decision in a Canadian court. This is called a judicial review.
