What can I do if I disagree with a decision on my EI claim?After you fill out, print, and sign the Request for Reconsideration form, you must:
- take it to a Service Canada office, or
- mail it to a regional Service Canada Centre.

If you mail the form, it might take several days to arrive at the Service Canada Centre. You need to leave enough time to make sure it's not late.
Service Canada must get your request within 30 days from the day you first found out about the decision you disagree with.
